When is it OK to ask the same question twice on Mahalo?
I had asked a question over a month ago and I had only gotten one reply, is it OK to ask again to see if more people notice or answer it?

Yes you can ask the same question twice.
Some questions get buried whether they are interesting or not and we understand that there is currently no rule or regulation about the amount of times you can ask the same question. I'd wait, at least until your first attempt at the question was closed.
Although @suzd688 answer is wrong they did make a lot of good points to why your answer didn't get any replies and that advice can be taken into consideration.
Go ahead and ask a question as many times as you need until you get the answer you want.

If it is the exact same question with the exact same wording then I would have to say No.
There may be several reasons why you only got one answer.
1) The questions may not have been interesting enough for anyone here
2) The reward may not have been enough. If you really want a lot of answers you need to offer a reward.
3) Maybe your question did not have enough information in it.
I tend to answer questions that sound interesting. In addition to those that have rewards.
In summary, If you want a lot of answers; your questions need to be interesting, have enough information and enough incentive for people to answer. I've seen on this site where questions where you really have to think sparks interesting answers and comments. So, you can try again but do not use the same wording, add something to it, make it more interesting, increase the incentive.

Thanks, now that I think of it I may have phrased the question poorly. I will keep these tips in mind, even if I am fairly unlikely to add cash to a question (see my screen name) ^_^
