As far as I know, it's still something we're considering, but not anything we have an immediate plan to implement. I do feel like the need for such a plan has shifted over time, as there are now a variety of opportunities to make extra Mahalo Dollars as a brown or black belt beyond just answering questions. So we have managed to incentivize getting a higher belt without adding another level of complexity to the payout system.
However, I do not mean to say that this will not ever happen. I think it's probably still on the table for future discussion.

Whatever happened to the concept of a sliding scale of M$ payout percentages?
I'm referring to this question:

Has there been any further discussion on implementing this (or a similar) system? Has the situation changed since the additional Mahalo 2.0 revenue source?

I like the idea of rewarding the high belt levels with better payout percentages, the only thing is that that model might discourage the lower belt levels if they have to pay 50%. Maybe if the percentage was kept at 25% for the lower belt levels, but reduced for the higher belt levels, that would be the best.
