Next Question
My short term goal is to get to 100 How To pages this month. Considering the month is half over and I'm only at 18, that will be difficult. I'll strive for 50 for now :)
My mid term goal is to make a side income of about $1000/month here (after putting 30% of it aside for taxes). I have a horse that needs taking care of, and it would be nice to have my side income cover her entirely.
My long term goal is to have $1000/month here in side income and have it be completely passive. Meaning that I don't have to write any more pages, just tend to the ones I have.

I have gone from there to now learning about everything from to proper ways to research subjects and source answers to write articles, create SeRPs and manage pages. Who would have ever though I would have learned a little Wiki and HTML, certainly not me. I have learned a lot from Mahalo.
So now my goal is to, through Mahalo, learn everything. Yes everything and have fun doing it by helping others, answering questions and pushing the limits of what I thought I could learn.
I see no end point anytime soon or ever at all.

End point? I haven't really thought about that. I won't be a hypocrite and say I'd stay in Mahalo for the rest of my life. Of course I want to if it's possible but I'm not certain of what could come up yet. But so far I'm enjoying Mahalo so I'll still be around. ^^ I can still manage my work, personal stuffs and Mahalo so there's no reason yet to leave.

Some of my pages are still not making anything...Now @smartweb is getting bugged by me. She is giving me advice in simple terms.
Thank you all who helped me.
It was really silly , @jeffhord voted me unhelpful and I did not even know why he was doing that !!!. So I went after his answers and voted helpful. I am pretty much sure,he had no idea why I was giving him "helpful" for a couple of days for everything he was writing (if he had noticed it....) Glad, learned to become helpful to few people.
Wow!!I almost forgot to tell you that my brown belt was celebrated well by my family.
I learned to make happy face during the tutorials.
Still, after 5 accepted how tos, I am not in the how to team. So the struggle goes on. Baby steps, baby steps...I am going to have the '''black tip''' in a month or so...
Yes, new hopes, new goals...Way to go....

My next goal is to get 50 How to task done this month to get the Red Dwarf bonus. I want to treat my family to a vacation to give something back to my parents. (Yea, I'm totally Chinese that way.)
Then I will start to answer questions better and get more involved in the Mahalo Answer community. I am in awe of so many great members here who can answer questions so thoroughly and are so helpful to everyone.

Though I don't have a great desire to be on the Hot-to-team I do want to learn to do those better. Then again I also want to learn to "manage" my own pages better.
We'll see what happens next and how things change over time. Maybe tomorrow I'll take up skydiving and see if I can handle that also.......NOT!

Short Term:
Create 50 or 100 how-to pages in November.
Long Term:
Build a residual income from my pages of $1000 USD per month.
I'll keep setting short term goals so that I can reach my long term one. :)

Mostly my goal is just to have fun, help people when I can, and learn interesting things. But within that I've had a variety of targets that I've aimed for.
At first it was just things like getting to the M$40 limit to be able to request a payment, and to get to Green belt. :)
Then later it's been things like getting to Brown Belt, or Black Belt, or reaching a certain number of M$ earned in a month, or getting a certain page to a certain page in Google.
Another type of goal I have, rather less specific, is to help make Mahalo into being the kind of site I'd love to see on the net - somewhere high quality, trustworthy, friendly, and a refreshing antidote to a lot of the nonsense and nastiness that exists out there.

Well my goal here at Mahalo is evolving. At first my goal was to beat the PS3 game Resistance 2 (and others) with the help of the Mahalo walkthrough. I have gone from there to now learning about everything from to proper ways to research subjects and source answers to write articles, create SeRPs and manage pages. Who would have ever though I would have learned a little Wiki and HTML, certainly not me. I have learned a lot from Mahalo.

My goal is to be a great member here like @robbrown, @buddawiggi, @bunnyphuphu, and the others. :) Although I know that they are better writers and that they provides smarter answers than me, I think if I'll just give it my best shot all the time, people here could somehow appreciate me being here too. ^^ I'd also want to be friends with everyone. That's another goal I have in mind. End point? I haven't really thought about that. I won't be a hypocrite and say I'd stay in Mahalo for the rest of my life. While I started, I didn't think, I was going to stick around for a while. I started to write answers, intrigued by people all around the world and their knowledge, claimed and finished tasks, got frustrated with my own learning process and I am still here. Buddawiggi, lesliec annek, smartweb, robbrown, jeffhord ...are few who helped me through this process. @Bud told me how to digg articles. It was funny, I didn't know how to use digg.com. I was bugging everyone how to set up the google analytics in my profile page. Some of my pages are still not making anything...Now @smartweb is getting bugged by me. She is giving me advice in simple terms.
Thank you all who helped me.

Aw... pellrider. I can totally relate to the frustration of getting to the How-to team. It took me 8 tries before I got accepted. The key is to get task you are most confident of and do your best.
Judging by your answers, I can say that you are a better writer than I am. I just found my niche and stick to it, that is why I got selected.
Here is a video to cheer you up. (And it's totally true too for us who want to get to the How to team!)
Don't give up!

My earlier goal was to build pages so I could list my articles from another site here. Now, Mahalo is my primary writing site. My next goal is to get 50 How to task done this month to get the Red Dwarf bonus. I want to treat my family to a vacation to give something back to my parents. (Yea, I'm totally Chinese that way.)

My goals here were simple, much like other places I've joined, to prove to myself I could figure this thing (Mahalo) out and make a little money. Like ever other time I'm learning how to use this site too to make money. Though I don't have a great desire to be on the Hot-to-team I do want to learn to do those better. Then again I also want to learn to "manage" my own pages better.

My Mahalo goal is a little unusual. I have self-esteem issues caused from a past abusive marriage. I made myself join Mahalo and participate as much as I can. My hope is that I will start to feel more comfortable in my abilities as a writer and to feel more self confident. Everyone here has been very helpful and as a result I'm starting to feel more confident in my day to day life outside Mahalo also. So, I guess for me Mahalo is a self prescribed therapy and my goal is to overcome the issues that have been plaguing me for years now.
