What is Mahalo Daily?

Are users able to redirect to external web pages using their profile? Do Mahalo spoofs exist with inappropriate content?

Is Mahalo generating these ADs?

I clicked on Ask a Question and a Mahalo Daily popup appear. Shocking.

What is causing this to happen?

I don't want this content popping up on me. Read the title and see if you agree.

Mahalo Daily is part of Mahalo.com, it is not a spoof site, it is hosted by our own @lons

You can watch through the archive here, they have produced over 420 videos.
http://www.youtube.com/user/mahalodotcom

It used to be "Daily" but they seem to now focus mainly on the producing 1 episode of "This week in YouTube" each week.

I am not sure why Mahalo Daily popped up when you clicked "Ask a question" I have never heard of such a bug, if it continues let us know by emailing contact@mahalo.com and we can have the devs look at it.

Today's content looked bad.

Does Lon's material get rated at appropriate or inappropriate?

Does Mahalo maintain it policy against pornography with Lon?

Not sure what you mean Davpamn, I can guarantee you Mahalo Daily is not pornography. Do you have an example?

The title on today's ad says, "Lindsay Lohan Looking For Sexy Guys & Gals"

What kind of Ad is this? Why did Lon use the word Sexy? It invites questionable remarks and content.

Yes, Davepamn, This Week in YouTube is associated with Mahalo.com. It began as a feature as part of the website's podcast, "Mahalo Daily," and now is a stand-alone show, uploaded each Friday (well, okay, Thursday night). I write This Week in YouTube myself and host it along with a rotating group of female co-hosts.

The show is a satire of both news programs and YouTube videos, in the style of "The Soup" or Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update." We feature and make jokes about the previous week's most interesting, popular or notable YouTube videos. There is never any pornography on the show, and all profanity is bleeped, in accordance with YouTube's policy.

To my knowledge, there should be no "pop-ups" or advertising for the show when you are attempting to ask a question on Mahalo Answers. In truth, the Daily and Answers are not really connected, aside from being featured on the front page of Mahalo.com (and Answers is much more prominent on the page). I will mention this concern to our developers, in case you encountered a bug or technical error. The vast majority of our viewership comes directly from YouTube, not Mahalo.com, which also explains why we try to make the show's title attention-grabbing and dramatic. I hope this answers your question.

Mahalo Daily is a Daily podcast presented by Lon Harris talking about current affairs and happenings in the world.

The episode shown on their home page is a 'This Week in YouTube' video, highlighting some of the largest videos on YouTube over the previous 7 days.

It is a genuine show, however, and is fully endorsed by Mahalo. If you've got any issues with the content, get in touch with them.
