what if i couldn't submit CA state tax return for 2008 before April 15th, as I am waiting for ITIN for my dependents

PLease reply

I have submitted ITIN application with federal return on 7th Match & waiting for ITIN number from IRS ITIN dept

Now I am not sure when it come. IRS says it may take 4-6 weeks

I have a refund due to CA state. Now if i can't make to file before 15 th April, then what would be the case?

California's own website (see the link below), there is an automatic extension if you cannot file by April 15th. If you are owed a refund as you say, then you just need to file by October 15th. If, on the other hand, you owe money you need to pay what you owe by April 15th, even if you cannot file the actual paperwork.
