What happened today, August 16th in Mahalo History

I'm working on guide notes for the Date pages on Mahalo. I am really liking the idea of having a summery of events that happened inside the Mahalo Community.

Although writing an entire paragraph will help, answering this question with only 1 event will also be helpful in the formation of the final guide note.

Please add links to the threads/events you are citing.
Here is yesterday's summery.

After a week of exciting news of Mahalo growth and speculation, @brian_san asked the question if we'd ever see a question tipping over M$200. (2009)

The contest to design a Mahalo t-shirt continued, with 3 new design entries posted today. (2009)

Suggestion: For each guide note, we may want to start including the year, at least maybe in parentheses after each item (like I added above). Or something similar. I can only imagine this idea will continue more than a year from now!

Thank @gno I think once we've come full circle to Aug 2010, we'll replace the current guide note with the new guide note and move 2009 down to the bottom of the guide note with the year as a header.
