In this order:
-Answers questioner's quarry completely and plainly.
-Factually correct with sources to back it up, or in the case of opinion based questions where facts play little influence, is it sound advice?
-Quality. (Some times many people include factual, complete questions, and one person just says it better than the others.)
-Photos/videos/other media attached. It just seems like an above and beyond thing to do. If two questions are tied in my mind often a picture will break the tie, but only if it was an applicable photo. I don't feel throwing a picture in to have a picture is helpful.
If two answers cover all of these basis and are still tied I looked at helpful votes, was I the only one who felt there answer was the best?

I like a little humor also. Tell me how it happened for you. let me see that you have experienced this or have experience in that.
I also look at how many helpful votes there are. This shows me that others were helped also and the answer fills the requirements of others.
We all have experience in many, many areas.
i never pick a best answer based on information that was gotten from wikipedia. I want true information from the experts.

#Not very short but also not unnecessary elaborate.
#Must be informative must. I may be from his real experience or from web source.
#A reliable source can made a answer better.
#Plain text, because of I am not native speaker.lol
#Image or video where necessary.
#In opinion based answer, I always try to observe WHY he supporting his opinion and by which?
#Try to observe which is really helpful.......because I asked just for help.
#I don't check grammar because I think it needed for tasks not for answers because some little grammatical mistake can not tolerate your speech. Where I am also not a grammar expert.
Overall I try to learn that which answer could realize my problem and answered according to help me.
Note : I never think that he can answer this question well but he not.I mean I don't look at the expertness.I look at the answer quality.
Thanks

Do you look for originality, more personal experience on the subject, quotations, most sources, or a certain user?
Details please! What's going through your head when deciding "best answer"?

yes, yes, and yes. When I pick a best answer I am looking for experience on the subject. But I am not looking for facts to be thrown at me. Anyone can look up details on the internet. I like a little humor also. Tell me how it happened for you. let me see that you have experienced this or have experience in that.
