I like the whole concept and idea of paying users not only to create informative and helpful web results, but also paying users to manage and keep pages updated.
It's like a community of library curators...but cooler.
I like the community most, there is a great group of people who are on Mahalo daily building pages and helping each other out, it's great to know these joint efforts that happen daily.
What I like the least is probably the amount of bugs, I understand completely that the website is constantly evolving. Working closely with the in-house staff I have have come to appreciate how far the site has come and the bugs, I know are simply side-effects to the website growing and bursting at the seams. Luckily Mahalo has one of best dev teams on the web and are working daily to improve everybody's experience.

Answered Question

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
What do you like most and least about Mahalo?
I'm new here. I'm savvy on the subject of the web, tech, futurism, and business models. I don't quite get Mahalo. I think Jason Calacanis is very sharp, and I think Mahalo is well done, but I don't see where it is going.
What are the best and worst aspects in your opinion?
I like the concept of the payment model, but I don't see how it can grow given the tiny dollar amounts. It seems like the more time I spend here, the more I am devaluing myself.
As a newbie, I can't even afford to offer a tip for this question. I've answered a number of questions, but I would have to spend insane amounts of time here to get to a decent level.
What am I missing?

I did a bit of Wikipedia work, but I've been turned off by the Wiki-Nazis who feel their views are the only ones that count. I've had valid, well-documented, objective entries reverted, and whole pages deleted by a few megalomaniacs. I've given up on updating Wikipedia for this reason.
How do I learn more about page creation and updating here?
