The Google Keyword Tool is free. All one needs to do to check a Mahalo page is copy/paste the URL. One of course must select the 'website content' radio button. The tool generates the keywords from your page and shows the search volume for each keyword along with the advertiser competition for the page.
For your page How to Use a BlackBerry Storm the keyword 'cell phone(s)' is searched over 20 million times a month on Google. Surprising 'Blackberry' doesn't show up on the list.
Since the Mahalo page view counter doesn't seem to work any more, the only way you can tell is to add the keywords to your pages and use the Google Analytics Report to give you number of visits for the page.
I've checked my own pages using the Keyword Tool and worked in some of more popular keywords but I don't notice a difference (caveat - onesie twosie visits per day) so there is likely not that much impact by keywords alone. Your idea of determining related pages is a good one but I haven't explored it so far.
