Whenever you get less than a perfect rating on your best answer, do you ever want to ask what you could have done better? Do you ask? Do you get a response?

The default is 3 stars and most people will not change that! :-(

The default should be changed or Mahalo should force the people to choose some rating, when selecting a best answer.

Yes, I always want to ask, but I don't know how. A lot of the times things I've answered get voted on, and then there is no rating.

There have been suggestions for a way to comment, chat or send messages to questions posted on Mahalo Answers. I think that something like this would be necessary in order to ask about the rating.
