Hi Dave,
You have a lot of great info there, but I do have a few suggestions.
A history section would be best presented in paragraph form, and include the who, what, where, when, why and how the model was created. You could write something like:
The GM Volt was designed by John Laucker in (year designed) and made its debut at the (debut year) (city) Auto Show. It differs from its competitors as it is a plug-in hybrid model with a gas/ethanol engine rather than a pure EV. Additionally, Lithium ion batteries replace Nickel Cadium hydrate batteries used in the EV1. The Volt is scheduled to be available to the public in (release year or date).
Going further in the guide note, the buying guide and brands do not really apply here, so feel free to change them to other things, such as reviews or competitors, and don't forget to add reliable citations, to the GM official site or trusted news articles.
Great start! Looking forward to seeing the end result!

These comments are only suggestions and not clear orders on what should or should not be done. If you want to change the section titles or section content, feel free to do that on your own. You can do that by clicking the Edit link next to the section title. :)
