It would be nice if we could "buy" and "sell" things with mahalo dollars, like scripts, addons, even specialized tutorials on a certain subject. Could this be a "Mahalo Pillar"?

I would say that this could go down the wrong path too depending on how the community takes it. Would providing a store cause people to hoard their M$ more and thus not give out as many tips? It may break the Mahalo community if the central way to make money becomes stunned due to people saving for things on the store and not tipping the currency as often. Just my two cents.

I like this idea, but it might distract from what Mahalo does best, and it might lose focus on the main purpose for the site. There are many great tutorial sites out there, and sites that provide educational video tutorials. To buy and sell tutorials, I don't think there is much demand in this, as there are a lot of free tutorial sites. I think some of the tutorial videos work well with Mahalo, yet not sure if they would be good part of Mahalo. Maybe, it would be good idea if you can cash out your Mahalo points into an Amazon gift card or something. There is a search engine that searches all these sites:

The key would really be making it PART of what is available on Mahalo now and not a seperate section.
