Is it permissible to put up a page about the community orchestra I play in?

Or for any organization that I'm involved in? I could, for example, post historical information, and the upcoming concert schedule. I've been doing this unofficially for many years, and even though we have a supposedly "official" website, the members that created left the orchestra, so now it is an orphan, with no one to update it.

I think that is acceptable, just make sure all the content is original.
