Mahalo does not offer phone answers like Cha Cha. I currently use Cha Cha for a quick question or answer when I'm on the go. Simply call Cha Cha 800-2ChaCha or SMS 242242 and Cha Cha will answer you within a few moments. So, yes I believe it's more convenient at times because the answer is sent to you, opposed to having to browse the web. With Cha Cha you don't have to even have an Internet connection, all you need is SMS enabled on your phone.

Mahalo could offer a voice to text question that gets posted and then return a text to voice response where the server could translate. Do you think voice to text and text to voice technology is advanced enough to be useful?

Cha Cha is more convenient than Mahalo for getting an answer delivered on a cell phone... if the answer to your question can be given in 160 characters or less. That is the biggest difference between Mahalo and ChaCha.
