It can be a bit annoying to see a long section of questions from the same user, but I don't really mind.
Also, Mahalo from time to time asks users to import twitter questions, so this can also lead to batches of questions from the same user.
I can't speak for Mahalo, but I would guess they want as many interesting questions (and answers) as possible.
If a user has several interesting ideas for questions, that aren't already on the site, then I would say it is a good thing.
In the end, the more unique questions on the system, the more useful Mahalo becomes, so I will take a little annoyance.

BUT, a lot of the questions are interesting, so I don't mind! :)

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Is anyone else annoyed that 9 (or more) questions from the same user(s) are grouped together on the main page?
Just an observation I made.

Yeah, well I think this is partly because of the points system which gives you points for asking questions (or at least selecting best answers)... which encourages people to ask pointless questions in quick succession just to reach the next belt level... BUT, a lot of the questions are interesting, so I don't mind! :)

Just asking a question does not give the user any points.
