I'm feeling very PRODUCTIVE today..... (cont.)
I've done a lot today that I've been avoiding and putting off - a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders, it's great!
It's nice to know that all I have left to do is to go to my college enrollment tomorrow and then I can relax for a week :D

REJOICING!
... that Jaycee Lee Dugard was found alive! i had never heard of her before today, but too many children are never seen again after being kidnapped, that it really makes me feel overjoyed that she is being reunited with her family!
and i felt that way as soon as i read about it...
but then i sent it to someone dear to me...
and about two hours later i heard back from that person... who had heard from a co-worker that her NEICE had been found! so i feel even more connected since someone so close to me knows the aunt of this young woman.
so i am rejoicing that the lost sheep has been found, so to speak... and i can only imagine the JOY in that family today. =)

I'm having one of those incredible days where things come together and life becomes so clear.
My 2 year-old daughter has been a dream today, giggling with me, playing with me, snuggling. Not the usual whiny tantrums. We've had very tender moments today that make me fall in love with her all over again. It's the type of stuff that movies immortalize with violins and cute love songs in the background. Smiles.
Plus, I've finally gotten good at working my new (used) sewing machine! I've been struggling for months to learn, and today I finished repairing one of my kiddo's quilts with ease. I rock! Smiles.
I've got some amazing grooving music on in the background and I'm covered with cats and a pug as I surf my favorite website. (Guess what it is?) Smiles.
And tonight? Tonight I don't have to go to any meetings. I get to eat dinner with my family for only the second time in a week. And I can't wait! I think I'll make some special zucchini sticks to mark the occasion. Smiles.
Yep, this is one of those days where I just can't help but smile at how awesome life is. Tomorrow may suck a shoe. But for today I am one big walking smile. :)

Sounds like you're having a great day! Well done on mastering that sewing machine - it's something I never managed to do, despite my Nana trying desperately to teach me! I have a lot of respect for anyone who learns a new skill or finishes a task, including myself as it's not often that I start a project and actually finish it... When I do, though, it's fantastic. ;)
I'm similarly covered in kittens. Ok, only two of them but oh my goodness I love them so much!

I havent done much constuctive at work, ( i pulled 2 10 hour days and a 9.5 hour day so far this week) and I just feel like going to bed and sleeping until I cant sleep no more!

I wish it were that easy but with my job when id get back id have to play catch up on everything and that would make things worse
Restful! I think I have the flu so I didn't go into work and I stayed home, slept in, then rested on the couch while answering some questions on mahalo today. I'm hoping the extra rest will help me heal quicker. Plus, I don't want to spread any germs to others. My hubby is sick too so we are both just resting at the moment.

Got a few things done this am, did some work on mturk and here, made some monies.
Got some job applications in.
Played video games.
Had an awesome lunch of tuna fish sandwich and homegrown tomatoes on the side.
Then a sinus headache set in and pretty much blew the rest of my day. Finally feeling myself again after dinner and a nap.
