hi, I'm sorry to hear you had no good replies!
You asked some really unique "non mainstream" questions
Not everyone can do the research for obscure stuff, nor do they think about issues like this.
Post the questions again, in a few weeks. New people read Mahalo all the time.
Eventually, we can hope someone will tackle them.
I will try a few, now. Will do a little "tricycle" research... etc...

Your other option is to resubmit them with a higher value tip to entice someone who isn't interested in learning the answer to slog through the research. My rule of thumb is that a 25 cent question gets a maximum of 5 minutes of my time if I decide to answer it unless I find it very interesting. To get me to even look at a question I have to find it a little bit interesting.

To get answered someone either needs to know the answer to a question or research it. To entice them to research answers the value to the person answering it either has to come from the tip or the knowledge they will gain. No one has found those questions valuable enough to answer yet. The good news is that questions never expire so someone might come along and answer them. Your other option is to resubmit them with a higher value tip to entice someone who isn't interested in learning the answer to slog through the research. My rule of thumb is that a 25 cent question gets a maximum of 5 minutes of my time if I decide to answer it unless I find it very interesting.
