How 'Top Searches' shown on Mahalo front page works?

Are those the top searches on Mahalo.com or they are top searches on several websites like google, yahoo, etc. Whether they are updated manually or updated automatically

I believe the information is pulled from Google. You can go to Google Hot Trends and see a similar report. The report shows the latest trends and keywords used in Google search's.

I know they are updated automatically and I do believe they are the top searches performed at Google. That is why sometimes the titles are misspelled.
