How top member feature works?Is it count both task and answers income?

Sometimes saw my last week income is more than one top member's total amount(not anyone of this image) but my name was not there.

There is a drop down menu that is suppose to sort it by different ways such as points, answers, questions, tips... but it is not always accurate. For example if you sort by points, you will see that some users with lower points are ranked higher than users with higher points. I think it is a little buggy. Hopefully with will be fixed with the new Mahalo 3.0.
