How long will it take to reach 100k points on Mahalo(maybe a Jet black belt!)?

With a few minutes of excel time, I worked out these numb3rs using some guestimates. It closely matches my timeline until now. How about yours?

Do you remember how many days it took for you to reach each of your levels?

I think your approximations are accurate. It takes probably about 5-6 months to reach a black belt if you use Mahalo every day. It takes about 6 months to reach 2nd degree black belt if you use it every day for an hour a day, and this means voting on answers as well as answering the best answer regularly. It would probably take 3 times as long to reach a Jet Black belt. Since page managing earns you points, the time might even be a little bit quicker, depending on how popular of pages you manage.

I was actually thinking around 1000 days too, even before I saw your chart. I reality though, I don't know if I could/would keep my activity quite that high for that length of time.

It's immpossible to answer that question exactly but you would have to spend over 2000 hours on mahalo.
