Its pronounced as Ma-ha-lo. Ma as in mama, ha as in ha-rbour, lo as in low.
According to wikipedia, Mahalo is a Hawaiian word meaning thanks, gratitude, admiration, praise, esteem, regards, respects. According to the Pukui and Elbert Hawaiian Dictionary, it is derived from the Proto-Polynesian masalo.
Here is a video where the Mahalo Product manager, Eric Stevens talks about Mahalo. He pronounces the word many times.
