Your compensation would be determined on several factors such as the accuracy of your answer, quality, prompt response and your overall work ethic. You would need a Paypal account, as 40 mahalo dollars is $30.00 paid via Paypal (remember there are fee's associated with the account). So basically the more you answer, the more points accumulated will determine your payout.

Unless a lot of your answers are really good, your pay is most likely 0 dollars and 0 cents. But, if you answer questions that are offering tips, and you are selected as the best, then you earn that tip. 40 Mahalo dollars is equal to 30 US dollars. So, answer as many as you can with smart, well thought out answers and you could earn some decent coin.

I am pretty sure no one uses this as employment. That's something that they think can happen in the future. But it's not nearly possible now.
