How do I answer a question that has been labeled "No Best Answer Selected"?

I have found some questions that I think I can answer but they have been closed so I can't answer

The system is currently set to close out a question after three days. Then any answers given can be voted on if the person asking the question did not select a best answer. Because there has to be a cut off at some point, once a question goes into this category, it is no longer eligible for additional answers.
