Definitely. Most of my "Writer" friends are all going crazy about this one month event. I have to admit that it is not easy to write a "novel" (from scratch) and with 50.000 words during a whole month. This is the reason why there are less people active on the sphere right now. These guys are great, dedicated and should all be commended for an awesome effort that I myself, although invited, did not have the courage to participate.
To all NaNoWriMo participants, good luck and best wishes

I know I am on day 9 and have 13000 words so far and my characters have taken me in a new and different direction than I intended. It is a good time. but I did notice many were not on here at all.

Not just here but also on Facebook and other writing forums. The people who are participating in NaNo are definitely committed to their daily word count and are concentrating on their novel work this month. I commend all of them who complete NaNo because I know that at this point there is no way I could keep up with all of my other writing work and churn out that many words a day on a novel.

now I feel guilty for being here and on my blog and working on my novel too. Good thing I rarely sleep. I notice we have almost 10 million words here in Phoenix so far. I am at 14k and I write mostly in the evening. But I do find it hard to take on any task's here until this is over.
