I am from Sri Lanka and I faced the same problem. Paypal only allows me to send money not transfer to my bank account.

So I contacted @jeffhoard and he said to send an email to contact@mahalo.com or lon@mahalo.com . So I followed what is said and now I made arrangements to receive my current payment through cheque (not sure whether they will send you monthly or all the time you request).
NOTE : I am mentioning @lon here because I was informed that he is the one who is responsible for the transactions in Mahalo. However you can try sending an email to contact@mahalo.com and they will reply you with the needed information.

Does Mahalo offer an alternative to PayPal when paying out earnings?
Hi there!
Here's my dilemma: I decided that I would like to receive my earnings from Mahalo. Before requesting the payout, I went along to PayPal and discovered that, being from South Africa, PayPal does not allow me to receive payments, only send money.
How am I going to get paid? Does Mahalo offer an alternative to PayPal? I know some other sites offer payment through MoneyBookers too. What should I do?

• Thanks! I'm so glad someone else is in the same boat as me! I'll definitely see if I can find out more about the cheque method.

I don't know if Mahalo has alternatives, which I think they don't but if what Ghanan said then perhaps they could make an exception. I really like Paypal, because it's so professional and trustworthy (most of the time). But I hate that they take some of the money perhaps they could try some other way, so no money is lost. Like 'Liberty Reserve'.
