If you check out the Mahalo Belts page, you will see that there is a maximum for each belt level for the number of points earned in a 24hr cycle. You can naturally continue to vote after you reach your limit, you will just stop earning points.

Does anyone know why sometimes when I'm voting for undecided it doesn't work?
I click on my choice and I get the "thank-you you have earned one point" message but the point doesn't register.
I can't see the voting results but it counts towards one of my votes for undecided answers. So far in the last few days it has happened about 5 times.
Is there something I don't know about or is it a glitch? ;-)

• Okay, for once this question is not because I haven't researched the answer. I am learning to look before I ask. LOL
It happens in the middle of my maximum votes which is now 20 but by tomorrow should be 30! ;-)
After it happens I am able to continue voting on undecided questions and they register?

That said...what is the answer to this random intricacy? Where do my points go? Not a rhetorical question...I don't care about the points, I'm just curious about why it happens? (Not a rhetorical question ;-)
