Did you know we have an IRC (chat) channel for fans of Mahalo Answers?
If you would like to join us go to irc.freenode.net and enter the #Mahalo chat room.
If you know how to use IRC well, perhaps you could explain how to get to the chat room below someone?
some IRC tutorials... it's not super easy, but not that hard. you need an irc client like mIRC or Colloquy.

The quick and easiest way to log in to irc.freenode.net and enter the #Mahalo chat room is to go to: http://www.mibbit.com/chat/
Choose your "server" (i.e. freenode)
http://www.connectedgeek.net/images/mahalo/mibbit-server-choose.jpg
Then type in a nick name and room (i.e. userisme and #mahalo)

Another choice is mIRC: http://www.mirc.com/
This is most popular and installing on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2k/XP/Vista.

Freenode no longer allows connections from Mibbit. To access the chat from the web you should goto http://webchat.freenode.net/

You can get on IRC from Firefox, you just have to install the ChatZilla addon.

Thanks for the info boss,i only knew the IRC for PTG's.I use Miranda.
I recommend using ChatZilla, which is a Firefox extension, available at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16
When you open chatzilla (Under tools in firefox) there will be a window that looks like the attached image.
Click on the freenode link, and you will be connected.
Channels begin with the # character
There are several commands that you will want to know. The all begin with a /
/nick - Set a nickname (example: /nick exedore6) It may take several tries before finding a nickname that isn't taken.
/join - To join a new channel (example: /join #Mahalo)
/part - To leave a channel (example: /part #Mahalo)
/quit - To quit ChatZilla (of course you could just close it)
/server - To connect to a server by name (example /server irc.freenode.net)
/msg username - to send a private message to one user.
Once you're in the channel, just type what you want to say.
