Brown Belt Test - @Mithrandir: Pass 3/3
Once a Mahaloian reaches 8000 points they become eligible for their Brown Belt on Mahalo. However, that belt is only presented after Mahalo staff consult the members recent history and activity to see if that Mahaloian is in fact ready to become a Brown Belt. Today we test: @mithrandir

As a Mahaloian, Mithrandir has provided quality helpful answers for as long as we've known him, he's been active in contests, active in community threads and has answered over 700 questions since joining last June, overall he is a well respected and favorite member for many within Mahalo Answers. With the addition of Page management and Tasks to Mahalo last summer, Mithrandir dove in and won a barnraising contest, and currently manages over 130 pages. We are happy to have Mithrandir as part of Mahalo and look forward to what will be developed by this great member in the future.

Chris often helps out the community any time he can on Answers and always has the Mahalo spirit we are always looking for. He would make a great brown belt because he has dipped his hands into almost every aspect of Mahalo. From participating in Answers to completing tasks, page management and now helping out with the buzz! He is a fast learner, great team player and has proven that he deserves his brown belt.

Mithrandir is an active Mahalo user who has asked over 700 questions on Mahalo. He manages over 100 pages, completes Tasks, suggests pages and asks questions on many different topics. Moreover, he is a helpful and supportive community member who offers his assistance and suggestions to other users and participates in and starts threads about the Mahalo Answers community. He has also contributed to Mahalo by creating timely pages on a variety of news topics. We congratulate him on his brown belt!

Not many folks do as much here help out as much as you do Chris. Your dedication to Mahalo is readily apparent in every answer, contest, page or project you participate in. There is no way to doubt you are a real asset here and I am glad as I'm sure many others are too that you are here as an actively participating user and mentor to the community.
I applaud you on all that you do for and with Mahalo. I would say pass no doubt.

Congrats on the nomination, @mithrandir! In the short time I've been at Mahalo, I've seen numerous times when you went the extra step to help out a fellow member. I'd say you're a shoe-in for Brown Belt!

As we just noted when I *barely* scooched ahead and beat you to the brown belt finish line (in all fairness to you, I did trip you), we've come a long way from our Amazon/Askville/Turker days. It's pretty amazing that a couple of cool people like us could travel from site to site and still be in touch.
What I'm trying to say is, CONGRATS on your brown belt. I have no doubt whatsoever you're going to pass with flying colors, and you have EARNED it!
If I had confetti, I'd be throwing it at your face right now.
