I just signed up. I'll be exploring it soon. Not sure how much time I have today.
For those who want to know more right now, I'm including the video GetGlue has on their main page here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udDRJGHPJ4k
Watch it. I think this could probably be very big for Mahalo if we all get moving on it.
=)
my username is smartweb for anyone who wants to include me in their list.
And this looks to be a case where too many Mahalo pages will not hurt you... for now at least. On sites like Digg you have to advertise several pages from other sites in between any Mahalo pages.
If I see that change, I'll try to let you know.

Anyone else on Mahalo using GetGlue from AdaptiveBlue?
GetGlue is next generation interest tracking technology that allows you to identify things you like as you traverse the internet and then based on your likes, makes additional recommendations to you.
Mahalo is a recognized Glue Site. This gives us all the opportunity to show our likes and have them identified as coming from Mahalo.
Mahalo is recognized by Glue as a content site for: Books, Games, Movie Stars, Movies, Music, Recording Artists, Topics and TV Shows.
Mahalo is yet to be recognized by Glue as a content site for: Gadgets, Restaurants and Wine.
Please join me by installing Glue in your browser and promoting your likes as you view Mahalo pages. I recommend you focus on your personal interests, as the recommendations you get from Glue will be useless otherwise.
I'm http://getglue.com/SoCalSue on GetGlue. Please join me there and let me know what you think of Glue.

Glad to see all the activity @srcr. The more we use it, the more we shake out the bugs and begin to benefit. The badge system is kind of cool too. How I became an expert on Antioxidants, I'll never know.

I see you are also into Semantic Web and Microformats. That is how I first learned of GetGlue from AdaptiveBlue. I hope you will continue to participate in Mahalo and GetGlue.

I've made you a friend on Glue. It is a bit interesting finding one's way around Glue. Getting used to the idea that you are promoting topics, not pages, eventhough where you were when you gave the thumbs up does appear in your selection.

Hi @jeffhoard, thanks for joining in. The 'liking' of a topic from Mahalo not always showing as such is something I want to draw attention to. Some of my likes are recognized as from Mahalo as they should be. I'm not sure if there is a difference in the way the Mahalo pages are coded with meta data or if there is a problem on the GetGlue side. More activity should reveal a pattern of behavior in the software so it can be corrected.
I did send an e-mail to Mahalo and no one seems to know who at Mahalo manages the relationship with folks at AdaptiveBlue, even though Mahalo is a recognized site and has their little icon all over the AdaptiveBlue categories.
I also sent e-mail to support at AdaptiveBlue and got no response at all. They have a few bugs of their own that I have uncovered, but their software is still young so it is expected, but I also expect to be able to get feedback as to whether the problem is with GetGlue, Mahalo or both
If we can get some critical mass of users, I think we can draw attention to the problems. The potential benefit for Mahalo is great.

The CEO Alex got a hold of me and told me it was a bug, I think it'll be cool once they get that worked out ;)
