First they need to fix the friends system. I don't know about you, but for me it is very buggy and the adding/approving friends is not working.
Not sure what extra features they could add using this data. Maybe a chart with the highest number of friends, or maybe an option to create groups, but I don't think we really need it.

Any interesting ideas for what Mahalo could use the "Friends/Fans" information on your profile for?
Mahalo currently has a system to add other Mahalo users as "friends" or to become "fans" of another user. Other social networks have similar systems. Any suggestions as to what features Mahalo could add to the site using this data?

I agree soundboy... I have been here since September 07.... and haven't ever been able to make it work right... sometimes when I click to add someone as a friend, they end up in my fans list???? and other times I want to add someone that I am a fan of and can't find anyway to make that happen.... For me it has always been hit and miss trying to make friends and fans work.
