After Lon posted the latest results of the Barnraising contest, a few people have asked me how I've been creating the pages...

I've received this question a few times now... so I figured that I'd share my answer!

Here's how I've been doing it...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bYMsc1Mz9E

So far, I think that she's been doing a pretty good job... I still have to help her with a few of the bigger words on some of the pages and some of her work hasn't been "up to par"... but for the most part, she's really hitting her stride!

I figure that if I place in the top 3, I'll take her out for ice cream!

After you said you'd refined your process I was tempted to reply "Refined your process? More like sold your soul to the Devil in exchange for super-powers..."

Now I see it's even worse than than! :)

I think Rob has a 'lease' option with the soul selling stuff, which gives you the cutest kids instead of super-powers!

Yeah, I've had her busting those pages out for a couple of days now... see those 3 coffee cups in the background? They're all empty.

:) She is very cute... we're very lucky.

You'd like the sign I have at child height on the control room door: "Unattended children will be put to work."

We have lots of door knobs that need polishing, seats to be cleaned under, and network / video cables to be run in the ceiling. Those are perfect jobs for small children. :)
