Lucky, your MacBook has multitouch. I would love to be able to input Chinese characters by writing them on the touchpad. It would be nice if the touchpad on older MacBooks were upgradeable.

Snow Leopard is going to add additional capabilities to older Macbooks, three and four finger swipes. Not sure about the Chinese character input, though.

Mac OS X is renowned for its simplicity, its reliability, and its ease of use. So when it came to designing Snow Leopard, Apple engineers had a single goal: to make a great thing even better. They searched for areas to refine, further simplify, and speed up from little things like ejecting external drives to big things like installing the OS. In many cases, they elevated great to amazing. Here are just a few examples of how your Mac experience was fine-tuned. go to the site. it's all there..

I am most interested in the updates to QuickTime because that is an application I use often. Being able to edit while viewing a video sounds like it will save some time. http://cnettv.cnet.com/mac-os-x-snow-leopard-developer-preview/9742-1_53-50074022.html

I'm definitely looking forward to choosing a default search location in the Finder. It's been really bothersome having to select the current folder I'm in instead of "Search this Mac" when doing a search within the Finder. Besides, I was one of the many that recommended it, so it makes me happy to see that Apple listens to its customers.
I'm also really looking forward to even the smallest user interface improvements. I think it's usually the smaller details that make our work a lot easier.
