I have the worse neighbors that live above my place. Instead of walking like normal people, I swear they stomp around just to irritate me. Then, if a cockroach farts too loud, they quickly knock on my door to complain about the noise. For the first few years, I went out of my way to be polite and say hi when I saw them but after getting dirty looks and mumbles I started obviously rolling my eyes and exhaling sharply. I feel sorry for the husband, his wife looks to be the boss and he has the "What the hell did I do to deserve this" look in his eyes when I see him. I can't help but to laugh.

NOSY NEIGHBOR!!! They are soo annoying. Once when we were new to the place where we live they let us live for one week in their house but are we FOREVER debited to that? arrgh. They know we have some family problems and they are constantly CHANGING sides to whom they are really with and they add or subtract things of what we say! They always have the latest gossip not only in us but everyone too. They are backfighters and they keep asking us with our family problems! As much as possible we only want to confide in our close friends but they are sooo nosy. One time they even invited us for DINNER just to talk about our family problem!
We're not stupid. We know the tone when you really care about what you hear and we know the difference when they only want to know the latest gossip on your family and spread it in the whole community.
But for the mean time, we cannot move,
so there's nothing we can do. :((
We just don't want to be rude so sometimes we just ignore them.

Without a doubt, it's the difficult neighbors. Our neighbors complain about everything. When we have guests, the neighbor complains if their car is parked on the street past their property line......mind you ON THE STREET, but past the property line. Our neighbors complain if we park on the other side of the street because she plants flowers on the outside of the sidewalk on the city easement and people hit her bushes with the car door -- I kid you not.

My neigbours are Slovakian and not one of them likes me - they don't seem to speak to each other, never mind to me! I would say they're a bit snobby though, a bit up themselves...
Soon, in about a week, I'll be moving house and will then have silly, petty, stupid girly girl student neighbours. I'm also a girl and I'm 19 so I'm younger than them, but to me they're like a bunch of ten year olds on the playground linking arms and leaving only one girl out.
So childish...

None of my neighbors are anything like your question. I get along with all of them. Sometimes they all don't get along with each other, but I have never had a problem. It seems they come to me for advise a lot, but I stay neutral. tell the truth and they seem to work things out. The pair that live south of me seem to be kinda clickish and hang together but they come by and set on the porch with me a couple of times a week. There in there thirties and I help them if they need it. My neighbor to the west is OK, they have a little girl and I gave her a basket and she just loves coming over and picking vegetables from my garden. She is about four. Her parents are nice. My neighbor to the north of me is a lot like me except he is 70+ and a veteran like myself. We get along good, we watch nascar and drink a couple of beers every week. I do not consider him dangerous but he likes firearms like myself and has a vast collection of them. I mean 400+ rifles and shotguns plus about 230+ handguns. He is a collector but I would not advise breaking into his home. LOL I always help him when he needs help. Just the other day I took the gas tank off of his golf cart and fixed it for him.Plus he has lived here for 50 years so he knows everyone. He told me that since I bought this house and moved in the neighborhood everyone seems to be a lot more friendly and willing to help than before. Which makes me feel good. So I guess I am blessed with my neighbors, we all watch out for each other. Small town living.

My neighbours are fine... we're not the closest of friends, but we'll say hello, have a chat look after houses when we're on holiday. Sometimes they play loud music... but the know when to turn it down, and they don't mind when we do.
Maybe we're luckier than we know
In the words of those ancient Australian Philosophers who wrote in an ancient manuscript.
"Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours,
Just a friendly wave each morning, helps to make a better day.
Neighbours, need to get to know each other, next day is only a footstep away.
Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours,
With a little understanding, you can find a perfect plan.
Neighbours, should be there for one another.
That's when good neighbours become good friends.

Great question, but I have to say none of they above. All my neighbors are fantastic, we couldn't ask for a better town neighborhood and street to live in/on. It's almost like the Universe is conspiring to do me nothing but good.
