I have gone through a similar situation that you have when I was in first year high school. There were three of us who are close friends but whenever we're together they seem to have their own secrets & laugh together and I feel left out. I tried my best to be close to them both but got tired of doing it because when there's three of us I feel that they are ignoring me. I was a little depressed and started to have self-pity.

I tried to seek advice from someone who is older than me and she told me to just let it be. If I am not happy going with both of them then I will just look or befriend others. As much as possible I should try to be myself and be friendly. I did just that and surprisingly I found a very good friend and we enjoyed doing things together, we go biking, hiking and some other fun activities in school. But we do not limit ourselves to each other. We make room for other friends but she is special and we shared secrets too.

The other two friends that I left? They eventually became our friends too when we were in Seniors and we became a big circle of friends. And I think that in letting go and just being yourself you will eventually find true and quality friends. For quantity does not matter but quality of friends does.

I think that you are a good friend to realize that something is wrong. Just keep your distance between the two. Maybe when she doesn't see you often and only has the company of the other which you mentioned is quite mean, then your friend will realize this sooner or later. And then, that's the time she realized that she lost a great friend in you.

you should try to make friendship with the second girl first and then everything will be ok.but the question is how??
try to talk to the second girl every time,try to bring some sweets or anything else for the second girl make her thinking about you and i am sure she will make friendship with you in one or two weeks atleast.

Since you've told them how you feel and they don't seem to care, they don't sound like friends at all to me! Friends come and go in life, so it may be time to find some new ones.

Don't go between them, go next to the one you like. Also one of my favorite things to do to mean girls, look at one part of her face, like her chin or nose, all the time, like when she is talking or when you are talking to her, she will get super self conscious and freak out and build up a complex. Though personally I would find a new group of friends, heck I would go hang out with some boys, really they are more fun anyways, and they wont act like, well you know what she is acting like. Really though, this girl sounds horrible, every time you see a VW Bug or a PT Cruiser punch her tell her its your new favorite game.
