Its important to not write them off so quickly. Maybe they have a good explanation of why they did what they did. Put yourself in their shoes and see how you would have reacted.

People always make mistakes so its most important to understand that and forgive them.

Usually what i do is separate myself from the situation and wait to see how they react. If they come back appologetic then it makes a huge difference of how i react. I have had friends do this and it has taken a year before they realize what they have done.

Lots of times when i confronted them, they get really defensive and try to turn it around on me which makes the situation even worse. Just give them time and try not to make the situation worse. If they are true friends they will come around and everything will work out.

If they do you wrong once... shame on them. If they do you wrong twice... shame on you.
