In my opinion (being a guy) he is keeping you as a "back-up" plan in case other plans don't work out. The fact that he wants a casual relationship is an indication that he doesn't want to have to bother with emotions and responsibilities. In other words, if he's lonely and wants booty, he can call you, but he doesn't want to have to put fun on hold if your felling needy.

If this is the type of relationship you want, at the very least, don't wait around for him. He is obviously not waiting around for you.

It sounds like you've done enough waiting. Move on with your life--and if he's interested, he'll follow. If he's not, you won't be wasting any more time.

The truth of what a person really values lies in what they make time for. Consider him a casual friend, and move on and up! Good luck!

Yes I think it's a waste of time. Move on! You deserve better. Find someone who wants to be with you, and only you. It sounds like both of you are on different wave lengths. He's not ready, and if he is ready then it sounds like he's not ready for you. Find someone who will cherish you for you and love you for who you are. Good luck!

I agree with the other comments. If he has admitted that he just wants a casual relationship, then you really should move on. Unless of course casual is ok for you.

I agree its a waste of time. Especially if for him the meaning of a casual relationship is just sex. Dont waste your time, there are a lot of us guys that are looking for a good relationship. Take care
