If you have an opportunity to save a soul from getting burnt, and you are to choose from your mom and your girl/guy whom will you choose?

Will you save your girl and let your Mom, who carried you for nine months burnt to ashes on the fire, or will you save your mom, and let your Girl burn to ashes on the fire. its a thuff one though, but i believe there is surely an answer to that.

The order of priorities in the service of aid, from the moral point of view, should not depend on family links. If all the factors are equal, the children must have priority, after the elders, the women and finally the men. As you see, there must be helped first those who have fewer possibilities of surviving.
In the mentioned case, it is probable that for her major age, the first aids was giving it to my mother.

Please forgive my English; I am ,originally, Hispanic speaker.

I'm not sure where you're going with the "soul burning" thing, but I can tell you that generally, most people would not pick their parents. It's not due to a lack of loyalty to parents, it's just that they are not your responsibility.

Your girl/guy is someone you are trying to take care of, someone you may potentially spend the rest of your life with. Your parents, however, are not necessarily your responsibility.

I believe the term "soul" in this case simply refers to a real person, someone you value personally.

Since this is no win situation, perhaps a third answer is possible. Why not join them in the fire? That way you don't have to live without either one of them.

(Duplicate answer due to technical issues with Mahalo today.)

There is always the third option. You can join them in the fire so you don't have to live without either one of them.

But the "obvious" answer is to save the girlfriend because the mother has lived her life and the girlfriend and you have the rest of your lives to live.

Yet with the luck some of us have the one we saved would hate us for not saving the other and you end up being all alone anyway.

I would choose the girlfriend. I think that they can be replaced way easier. Its a little hard to replace your mom.
