Has anyone tried eharmony.com? Does it work? Any success stories? Horror stories? (Im asking for research purposes only)

I tried it about 5-6 years ago. It didn't "work" for me in five months - only one exchange progressed enough to have a date and a second date. But I thought it was useful. I learned a fair amount about myself by why I was rejecting women - I thought that the progression of questions was very useful and was a differentiation vs. myspace or match.com. I was getting rejected a lot (and I understand why!) as well. I would skip the new "FastTrack" option, and I suspect I would summarily reject anybody who insisted on it.

The cost helps too, as it helps weed out those who are not serious. I think most of their optional (e.g. "premium") services are nonsense. The cost had about doubled since when I used it - I paid something like $79-$89 for 3 months. At $59/month, I'm not so sure about it, although I guess you can look at it as the cost of one dinner date where you picked up the tab.

I tried it and met several people. Most of them were crazy. Nothing much along the horror story route, but your chances are exactly the same as myspace or match.com or any other dating site.
