Guys do you like southern accents on girls?

I'm from Alabama so my friends pick on me sometimes, so I just wanted your opinion does a southern accent turn you off, or do you think it's cute? Also my accent isn't like out in the woods country, not saying that's bad though I love good country accent:), It's just Alabama southern.

Personally I think it's cute. But then I'm from Maine so don't tend to hear too many accents up here unless they're on TV. Also I tend to go more for the personality than the voice but I hope the teasing doesn't get too serious and put you down.

I find accents very attractive, especially southern accents. One particular memory of southern accents is of a woman say "Hounds of Love".

I like them alright, as long as they're not overly-done (backwoods) or rednecky. Normal southern accents can be cute or even endearing, but I don't consider them especially attractive.
I agree with the above poster: personality is much more important!
