Gift Ideas For Girlfriend
OK, I would like some good ideas for a gift for my girlfriend who is turning 17. I just bought her a gold necklace that is worth around $200. But I don't want to spend too much, around $40-$60. So if you can throw some ideas my way. Her birthday is October 29th so I do have over a month.

My idea, which I have done for special people in my life, is for you to choose a wonderful photo that has some special meaning for you both and take it to a printing shop and have them make up a personalized card. Or even a silly painting you try to do, or a note with flowers you've picked on it :)
It's the simple and loving little things we do for one another that we remember and cherish.
I have no sources for this except my own experiences .....
an example is the one I've just had done for a birthday card - I took a photo of the flowers that we ( daughter and I ) planted together last year that have come up in the garden. I know she wont be able to see them flower because she isn't here so I had a card done that says Happy Birthday and the photo I took in the middle - it does look sweet :)
Don't worry, it REALLY is the thought that counts

No, don't think like above. My first gift to my gf. was 50 white and red rose.40 red rose surrounded by 10 white rose. After that I gift her many thing but she never happy that this gift.So I think it will not cost you much you can give another gift including it.
Always try to different some If she loves music please collect many CD according her fav. but don't say her that you doing it. When she will see that you collected these CDs for her she must give you a ki(ssss) lol. These is only a example but you should gift her these things which are fav. of her.May be it CD,dress, bear, and many....First know what she loves much...more than you.(LOL.Don't mind this is a joke. ) Gift her this thing sure she will happy.

Infact, most women love chocolate; this one's a no-brainer. If you do buy her chocolate, opt for European brands such as Godiva, as this will surely trigger all her senses. If you know she loves chocolate, you can get her products like hot chocolate mixes (mint and raspberry), which can be found in specialized stores such as Godiva and popular coffee shops. If you know that tea is her bag, you can always get her a box of assorted teas; you'd be surprised though, this can get pricey. If your girlfriend has an appreciation for culture, you can take her to a show, musical, concert, or performance swinging into town. She's sure to appreciate this since many women may not treat themselves to tickets. This choice will definitely show her that you have put thought into her gift and she will especially love that you are willing to sit through a show that you may not like simply because she loves it.
Returning to the sensuous motif, candles are always a safe choice, since most women like to decorate their rooms with candles. You can be more original since there are beautifully decorated and sculpted candles that are scented or unscented, rather than traditional cylindrical candles.
Hopefully these gift ideas will help by offering insight on what to give her for a birthday, anniversary or just for the sheer pleasure of treating her. Remember, it all depends on your relationship, her taste and how much you are willing to spend. Whatever you get her, show that you put some thought into the gift by adding a personal, unique touch to what may seem like a generic gift. Pleasing her and making her happy is sure to keep your happiness intact, since she may show her appreciation in more ways than a wrapped gift in return!

This might sound cheesy, but it was literally my favorite gift ever. My boyfriend had bought index cards and an index card holder and on each card wrote a reason why he loved me, from serious to funny. It was great. Even after we broke up I often looked at those cards to make me feel better.

Make her something. Write her something. The best gifts are one's that come from you, and show that you are expressing yourself and your feelings in a tangible way. Along with the necklace, perhaps you could also make her a special dinner... stretch your abilities. Or create a little album of your photos together, or of your emails. Relationships that last are often documented in some beautiful way by one or the other of you, so you can look back and remember.

You can get her: 1. a good perfume at the Victoria Secret's Outlet.
2. a pair of earrings from JCPenney. You can find cute ones for under $60.00.
3. two tickets to see a new movie that she wants to see.
4. any book written by her favorite writer, that she doesn't have yet.
5. a nice picture frame, with a picture of you two.
Note: Doesn't matter what you buy, be sure you buy a nice card and red roses too.

I am GiftMan - I think I need a better superhero name to help others - any suggestions? Here's what you could do and the comments in this post are good, going out of your way to make something is a lot more meaningful than buying something off the shelf. However here are some quirky ideas you might like: Add her face to a cool eCard, it's hilarious and fun to do, she'll love it and be able to send it to all her friends ($9.99 for year susbciption)
