M$1) I never really cared for being a page manager and how well the new guide system does in comparison to the old PM system is almost as interesting as standing the line at the DMV to me. I hope they (new guides and Mahalo) do well with it but the success or failure of the new system does not effect me personally.
2) I love that @jammons has been active in letting us know what is going on with the rev share. I hope this sort of updating continues for every single Thursday push so we do not have to guess what is going on and what has changed. The success of this will be seen in the 11th or 22nd etc. week of consecutive "Pre-deploy" updates for us.. just one week is not enough.. I think we need to know every week consistently.
3) Rev share funds my questions so I am happy to give @jammons a well deserved thank you for trying to sort this mess out and get us back on track with accurate reporting of money we earn. Big time TY Jeff.
4) Vacations are for weaklings. Get back to work Corey. ;)
5) Honestly Double I think Jason is done with that thread but you never know.
6) Dave.. he was forever asking Mahalo to conform to his idea of Mahalo and I think they had just had enough of it and all of Daves asking for things to go his way instead of making things better within the confines of the Mahalo systems we have to work with. Who knows really. I hate to see anyone go but I will not miss for one second his front page clearing question dumps with all 23+ questions he could ask all at one time. That irked me to no end.

Intentional? Yes. What exactly her intent is I will not know but from her Righteous Babe website the album is described as "Canon doesn’t play like a greatest hits package, but an album that’s arranged and intended to be played from beginning to end. There’s even some surprises along the way – a handful of re-imaginings of Ani classics" (1)
I believe "single peaceful shot (her canon) from a cannon re-imagery" is the key here.

Yep, I can see why you feel that way. Which is why I went the extra step to try to explain my choice. I thought that Goatead seized on a point which opened a floodgate of responses; you *seemed* to not understand why I wanted the loose threads addressed. If you choose not to respond to my questions in the future, I understand. I'll be saddened, but I'll understand.
Likewise, I hope you'll be able to understand the (difficult) choice I made this a.m.

Budda, with this thread I was really trying to point out that there were a couple of reports that Jason had promoted (#1 and #2) that we had (have) not yet seen. Whether each of us considers #1 important or not isn't really the main point - and I don't really consider Jeff's valuable communications about the rev share efforts to meet #2 ('though there may not have been a Thur night rollout because of them).
BTW, my profile alerts are working, though I got about 9 messages that this Q was about to expire. (I only needed one. I think. ;-))

I almost never question who gets a best answer in any thread decided by the asker and @goatead is one of the best new members Mahalo has seen in a long time, his answers are intelligent and his participation is great, but in this case I can only see you were looking for something else than best answer as in a purely objective light the answer selected as best here is barely noticeable, uses additional single line and still unanswered questions as content and offers absolutely no real information or opinion. It is pretty uninspiring to me in thinking about offering my opinions on topics you might bring up in the future.

Not "venting", budda buddy, "pointing out". Other than sending DQ's (which too often go unanswered), this IS the appropriate venue for that. (MA has frequently been the place to initiate discussions, in addition to asking questions.) I invited responses, etc, and I appreciated yours.
And, for the record, when I have posted my opinions on Mahalo Answers, it has ALWAYS been (1) to seek others' opinions, (2) to elicit honest responses from specific people AND others who might have an interest, and (3) to persuade. I hope that I have always managed to keep venting/temper tantrums out of my Mahalo participation (as well as my participation elsewhere), and I sincerely apologize if I have occasionally failed at that.
I will confess that I have been disappointed with the actions last month that destroyed the community-of-contributors-revenue-sharing community and largely replaced it with a small-band-of-piece-workers website. I think the actions were poorly planned, poorly executed and poorly communicated. I have expressed my concerns and how I think that things might be improved. And, with this thread, I attempted to hold Mahalo accountable for just a couple of the statements/promises which the founder-CEO-visionary publicly made in an effort to satisfy some of the disappointed community members (including you and me) and to keep us hangin' on. Because, I don't think that Mahalo really wants to set us free and get out of our lives.*
BTW, I listened to a good part of "Canon" (albeit interrupted by phone calls and leaving the office) - I was pretty impressed. I hadn't really listened to her before. Thanks.

It is not that I didn't understand it was that I did not feel any more "addressing" would be more helpful and as far as the point spurring a flurry of responses.. "What happened to @davepamn?" .. I think you would know Mahalo is not going to address that in public.
I feel a no best answer would have been best here as the two points of contention I seemed to lack an understanding of still have not been addressed by any of the answers here.. I mean one could say I touched upon them but not to your liking and that is understandable.. but no other answer or comment even mentioned them.

Not one.. I just double checked. That entire "flurry of comments" is all about @davepamn and every one of those who commented there know Mahalo is not going to address the removal of a member in public. "It was a TOS violation" would be the only public statement Mahalo would make, if any.

Oddly enough I feel right now like I am discussing this with @davepamn because with him no matter how well I put together any sort of answer to any of his questions he would never award me the BA because I was always disagreeing with him.. he really did not like me for that.
As for answering your questions.. I answer without regard to who asked the question nearly any question I see that interests me and the only thing that changes is the amount of effort I put into the answer based upon who asked it..if I know that my answer will not be selected or voted as best because it is in opposition to or in disagreement with the asker I will put forth less effort accordingly.

@doubleminaz I tried a few I had bookmarked of his and they were all "could not be found" (I bookmark a lot of things ;), I can see them still being on Google, google doesn't de-index that fast, I don't think anyways
I believe someone has to block you, you can't delete your own account - and I think if @davepamn was planning on leaving he'd have surely made an announcement (since he announced everything else) He's been missing since Wednesday. I noticed one of his answers missing to a question I was watching and I think ones like the one @doubleminaz mentioned are just stragglers. He tagged all of his quesitons with his name and there are only a few left on the site so... who knows!

@girlieq3000, I picked that Q for the irony value, but I think ALL of his questions are still accessible. Try Googling (davepamn site:mahalo.com); I got 119,000 hits(!) and tried a couple of others.
Oh, and yesterday, a lot of his questions (without his famous profile icon) were on the front page (in the "unanswered questions" section).
And, yeah, I agree. He would've announced it!

I can't belive dp is gone???? everything is just so out of place for the past couple of weeks. I checked my paypal account and no money is on.
