I was unable to find anyone named William Warhand in initial searches. However, I found a website that allows old Navy buddies to reunite. The particular link below takes you to a registration setup to search for members of the USS Nimitz. The person you are looking for may or may not be on this website, because it only lists members who gave their information. I also posted a link to military.com.
