looking for website. while searching for cloud pics, came across a site with old photos of a WW2, weather station in tropics, MASH-like.
the site had a diary feel to it in some ways, lots of photos of what looked like a weather station in a very tropical setting, a lagoon etc....the young soldiers in the photos had a very 'gone native' vibe to them, and reminded me of M.A.S.H or very 'early' hippies.....they seemed particularly at ease, and their hair was getting a bit long, and they were a tad scruffy....I'm not positive, but i think it may have been WW2 era....not positive....
and it was a fluke that i ever found the site to begin with...i believe i was sourcing cloud images for a web project, and had just done a google image search for clouds, or something in that vein.....sky, clouds, etc....tropical clouds maybe....it was a while ago....
anyhow, it was a very enjoyable website to look at, once i'd stumbled upon it...and it's stuck with me over the years....i'd very much like to see it again if it's still online.....
if it sounds familiar, or if you think you might be able to find it with your search kung-fu, i'd very much appreciate it....
thanks!
cheers

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
