Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The world without us is pretty good and a relatively quick read. And actually it's much better than the terrible TV show they made out of it, though I can't recall what channel it is on, something cable.
The book makes some assumptions and ignores some things (like that the book is based on if all humans disappeared, not just died because there is no comment on the billions of bodies that would remain) but if you can look past that then I say go for it. Know that it is one opinion though and there are probably more out there.
Other authors to consider are Jared Diamond, Thomas Friedman, Mary Roach or Bill Bryson. The last two are the lightest of the bunch with some laugh out loud nonfiction works.

I haven't read the world without us. It seems like it consists of a bit too much conjecture for my tastes. Have you read Jared Diamond? You may like Guns, Germs and Steel or Collapse. He's an environmentalist with a bit of an anthropology kick.
