Looking for Someone...is it bad?

What I mean by that is that someone on a chatting site is looking for someone (wife/husband) to sign the divorce and posted a video up with the person they're looking for's picture. Now they are giving a $20-$30 reward for whoever is able to tell him where they saw him/her and give him proof that they saw the person. But that to me sounds really bad. I know that both need to sign papers, but shouldn't you go to the lawyer or something to get a hold of the person and not ask random people to search her/him down? Also is that illegal or something? I'm just wondering, so I can give the details on whether he should do that or not, just so that the person doesn't get into trouble.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would not post the person's picture online, that's a bit extreme. If a person is looking for someone in order to get that person to sign papers, then typically a process server is hired to find that person and serve him/her with the papers. They can stake out his home or place of work if he's trying to avoid service. That's the route I would go.

Ya that sounds right...it's someone on a chat site...the person seems weird though but ya...they're planning on marrying someone the next year and wants their wife/husband to sign the papers...but I don't think giving a picture is right...I think that's like kinda invading the persons privacy really...thanks

You can SAY you saw the person but not sure what good that would do except confirm a one time location of the person in cause.
