Looking for resorts/nice hotels in New Hampshire in the White Mountains or lakes region?

Tip for best answer: M$0.30
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire is beautiful and a great place to visit. North Conway NH is the place to stay if you would like to explore the White Mountains and in North Conway the best resort style accommodations are available at the North Conway Grand Hotel. Superb in every aspect, the hotel is at the east end of the Kancamagus Highway a scenic byway you will love to experience firsthand and with easy access to all the White Mountains have to offer this would be an excellent choice.

The Lakes Region of New Hampshire is best experienced from Meredith NH and the best place to stay here is The Inn & Spa at Mill Falls. Right in the heart of Meredith and with easy access to everything fun to do in the lakes region this is a excellent resort with terrific dining and a great spa, this will be the best way to enjoy the lakes region of New Hampshire.

My personal recommendation would be The Notchland Inn. I've had several wonderful stays there. It offers stunning views and amazing service. If you like animals you're in for a treat. They have several beautiful Bernese Mountain dogs. These animals will warm your heart. Here's a link to their website. http://www.notchland.com/
