You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$There are important distinctions in regards to Royalty Free Music. The two keywords are "Free And Royalty Free" and "Royalty Free"
1 - "Free AND Royalty Free Music" means you can browse music and download it and use it under a Creative Commons License. Notice in this sentence, there is no mention of payment. Essentially, you need to look for "Free" And "Royalty Free" Music, and not just "Royalty Free".
Pros: Quickly Find music to use, doesn't require any payment
Cons: Selection is not as large as the pay sites. Need to credit the composer.
Many excellent composers and musicians use this method to build their network and build their base of contacts. In other words, it's a networking tool for them.

2 - "Royalty Free Music" (without the "Free" part) means you can buy the music, and then use it, royalty free.
Normally a royalty is paid everytime the music is broadcast. So in this case, you are paying an upfront fee (much more expensive than iTunes) in order to not have to pay the usage license every time your work is broadcast.
Pros: Quickly find music to use.
Cons: Can costs a lot of money for the 'license'.

Each solution has it's own options, but hopefully this description helps you figure out where you should be looking for your specific project - and it obviously depends on the budget of your project.
