M$12 Answers
3 parts Citron Vodka or Grey Goose L'Orange (something citric & high quality)
1 part Cointreau or Grand Marnier
1-2 parts cranberry juice
splash of fresh lime juice or Rose's if she likes it really sweet!
Shake well & garnish with a twist (of lemon or of you.) The drink should be pink as a virginal blush, not the red of a streetwalker's rouge.

M$bad answer but great taste:
Pour two finger of white rum in a glass, or fill one third of a martini glass with it. Add some Crème de Cassis and top with club soda for fizzy or orange juice for non-fizzy. Strong and delicious.

2 tbls (slightly smaller splash than the oj)
ice
Smash the mandarin in a martini shaker using a muddler (or back end of a spachula :)
Add remaining ingredients.
Shake and strain into glass.
Enjoy!

M$3 parts clementine juice (Hey, they're in season, and it's a lot sweeter than OJ)
2 parts gin
1 part lime juice (not Rose's, doesn't suit the taste here)
Add a dash of sugar to taste.
It's a rough concept - I never really put down a recipe, but the basic combination of tangerine, gin, and lime is delicious and can be adapted for different styles of presentation - for a highball, use club soda on top of this basic recipe. I like it best served more similarly to a margarita, but it'd go over alright in a martini glass too.
I make drinks for fun.
