G'day Jeeper,

Thanks for your question.

The highest rated options on Google Maps include:

* Amighetti's Cafe;

* Diamond Anna's Secret Garden Cafe;

* Redbird Sports Cafe;

* Roy's Sub and Cafe.

Thanks, but I was really hoping for some first-hand experience. I've been to Roy's ... and calling it a cafe is a very loose interpretation of the word. Redbird is a sports bar. Amighetti's is a sandwich shop... and Diamond Anna's has creepy CREEPY dolls and lace everywhere.

Still looking for good coffee and a casual atmosphere.

I'm not from Bridgeton, MO but I work near there. I was hopeful that someone else from the St. Louis area might also be on this site. I'm sure St. Louis is much like other cities in that a place you search on the internet could turn out to be in a neighborhood that is best left unvisited. But hey, we're not the #1 most dangerous city in the U.S. any more... #4 baby!
