Or you could always play Opera or other music that you enjoy that they might wish they were nowhere near.

Also earplugs might work or talking to his parents telling them your concerns might help. But if the kid is screaming that much I am assuming he doesn't have much parental guidance to begin with. Social services maybe? I don't know safest bet is just ignore it.

If the parents said something to me I would say, "I thought they were being stung by wasps because of their screaming. I was just trying to help. Maybe your children shouldn't be out side screaming like they are being stung by wasps."

What is best way to handle a situation where your neighbors children are always screaming very loudly outside my house which is disturbing
This isn't regular playing but high pitched screaming on a daily basis during day and late evening hours. I tried turning on fans to drown out noise but it doesn't cover it up.

Thats funny I have the same problem with my neighbor but the kid never comes outside I hear him from inside his house into my house. I don't know if the kid has a mental disability or if he is just out of control. But the only thing I do is just try and ignore it. Its like you if live next to an airport or a train line. Over time you don't even realize they are there. Good luck. Also earplugs might work or talking to his parents telling them your concerns might help. My husband thinks the mom is out there with them. I have a hard time understanding why the parents wouldn't at least say hey maybe you should not be screaming at your full voice all the time. We live in a very nice neighborhood and it has got to bother other neighbors too. I wrote a letter to our other neighbors asking them not to leave their dog outside all day because he barked the entire time and it backfired on me. They now keep him inside and he is not a problem but they hate us now and we had just moved in a few months before that. So now we feel so awkward if they are outside and we are too. i tried to wave and they just stare meanly at me. so i am really cautious about making the same mistake but it is so bothersome.
i can't believe you can hear your neighbors son from inside his house to yours - i would have to move i think. I am super sensitive to noise and it unnerves me so much. i wear earplugs alot especially to sleep so that may be what i have to continue to do. i seriously have bought fans for every room in my house to try to block out noise as much as possible but there has to be a point where the neighbors have to bend a little too. thanks for telling me about your situation too. glad i'm not the only one.

i went outside and told them briefly about the boy who cried wolf... i think they got the message that if they ever really needed help no one would know if they scream just for fun all the time. they haven't done it again yet...

If the children's screaming bothers you, then I bet the parents are in the same boat as you. I'm sure they don't know how to control their children and unfortunately, this will only stop until they learn how to. I think it's almost the same as dogs barking late at night, after a while, you do tend to get used to it. Good Luck!

Shock collars, A German Shepard, or Tranquilizers.......I personally would sit on my roof with water balloons and nail them with them. If the parents said something to me I would say, "I thought they were being stung by wasps because of their screaming. I was just trying to help. Maybe your children shouldn't be out side screaming like they are being stung by wasps."
